Community Sex Ed: Fall 2025 Sessions

Looking for a place for your kid to learn age-appropriate, inclusive sex ed in your community taught by experts?

Say less.

4th and 5th Grade Course

Talk More is launching a 3-session family sex ed course for elementary age students in grades 4 and 5. Participants will learn and have opportunities to have questions about: puberty, reproductive anatomy, reproduction, and changing relationships. Each session is 2 hours and all content is inclusive and age appropriate for late elementary school. (Remember, young folks need to know about puberty before it happens to them, and trust us, they have questions.)

This is a course designed for parents and kids to take together, so families build comfort in talking more throughout adolescence about bodies, relationships, and yes, eventually, sexual health. Parents are asked to join for each session so they can benefit from structured conversations with their kiddo in class. Register through the link below.

  • $125/participant (trusted adults included)

  • Sunday afternoons from 3-5pm

  • Course Dates: September 7th, 14th, 21st

Middle and High School Course

Talk More is excited to host 6-session community-based sex ed courses for middle and high school aged youth of all genders. Each 2-hour session will feature time to build community, an overview of some important content knowledge, and a safe space for discussion, reflection, and asking questions. Each session, and our expert team of facilitators is introduced below.

What makes this course extra-special is integrating families into the process. A parent or other trusted adult will be invited to join for a portion of the 1st session and the entirety of the last session, and youth will take home information and resources to share with you each week. The data is clear that when teens talk with their trusted adults about sexuality, they have stronger health outcomes. Register through the links below.

A preview of the course content is below:

Building Community and Identity

The first session will be an introduction to the class. Youth will have a chance to get to know each other, set expectations for interaction in the class, and practice respectful discussions even when they may disagree. Families will be invited to join for the first hour of the class.

Navigating Relationships

This session introduces the changing nature of relationships, including both friendships and romantic relationships. Youth will learn which types of behaviors are red flags, and explore how they can embody being a “green flag” themselves.

Preventing Pregnancy and STIs

Reproductive Anatomy and Pregnancy

Consent and Sexual Assault

Talking with Trusted Adults

Sometimes, you’re just curious about the basics. Youth learn foundational information about strategies for preventing STIs and pregnancy, including various types of birth control, where they can find resources in their community, and how they can talk with their trusted adult for guidance and advice. This session prepares youth to stay healthy as they make decisions in their future.

This session introduces youth to their reproductive anatomy and how pregnancy can begin taught in a gender inclusive ways that honors all the ways families are created.

Youth will learn what consent means in every instance - from everyday interactions to sexual behaviors. We’ll also talk about when consent isn’t present, which is sexual violence, including what that looks like for teens, and provide resources for how youth can get themselves, or their friends, help.

Parents or other trusted adults will join us for this session to participate in structured, safe conversations with their child related to sexual health and share ways they continue to ask and answer questions together in shame-free ways moving forward.
