Talk More has partnered with heartbulb to develop a series of worksheets for families and trusted adults to use when talking to kids about bodies and relationships. (they can also be used in community organizations and schools, too!) Find each worksheet, with a short description, below.

Talk More is honored to be partnered with heartbulb, a social empowerment project founded by Tamerra Meyers. The project offers free educational tools, services, and resources that are culturally responsive, anti-bias, and conscious of experiences unique to Black American and Tanzanian youth. The heartbulb Project was inspired by Tamerra's nephew, who was left feeling vulnerable, disempowered, and ultimately in the dark as a result of a whitewashed and culturally insensitive history lesson. The lack of care, concern, and preparation was evident, although not uncommon and certainly not limited to the subject of history. By leaving a light on for youth to inquire, imagine, hope, and build, The heartbulb Project seeks to educate and empower youth on critical topics, from rape culture to digital literacy. Customized materials are available in both English and Swahili and collaboratively refined to guarantee that the contextual focus of each lesson tailors to the unique traditions and practices of the intended group or student.
